What is Life Coaching?

The role of the coach is to help the client utilize and maximize their resources so that they can grow and transform in ways they personally desire. Life coaching focuses on what’s happening right now, what a person wants next, and how that gap can be bridged. It is also helping someone understand what their present experience is with mindfulness, exploring mindsets to help someone see their options differently, and helping someone understand personal value and belief systems, and how these show up in all areas of their lives.

What is a Relationship Coach?

Relationship Coaching is a professional client-focused service that works with individuals and couples who are healthy, powerful, and able to achieve their relationship goals with effective support, information, and guidance. Problems can remain unsolved for years when the skills and information are not present, resulting in unhappiness and resentment. I will teach you to develop conflict resolution skills, and offer tools to deepen intimacy and pleasure.

What is the Purpose of a Relationship Coach?

Through the process of coaching and relationship development, you will begin to view your relationship as a practice, and you will handle challenges more successfully. You will experience deep insights, resolution, and inspiration. You will feel much more equipped with how to cultivate a lasting, passionate, and authentic partnership. Getting good support is essential in being able to identify the blocks that are getting in the way and preventing real connection.

Why coaching instead of therapy?

Most people are not “mentally ill,” they are simply going through a difficult time. You need guidance, not therapy. I can give you the guidance you need to get past your difficulties. A coach looks at your present to help you create the future you desire, while a therapist looks at your past to help you manage your present. A session with a life coach will feel a lot different than one with a therapist, one provides structure and accountability while the other is more open-ended. During coaching you have homework to do, between sessions to have more clarity towards your goals, when therapy you decide where do you want to go.
